Commenting on the significance of the afternoon, Amaal Al Lawati, Ooredoo’s Chief Customer Experience Officer, enthused: “This key event in the Ooredoo family calendar is an important opportunity for us to honour the hard work, ambition, and strength of character of the women in Ooredoo. Every day, these incredible women inspire me with their desire to learn new skills, respond to challenges, embrace responsibility, pursue goals, and all with the determination to succeed.”

The Ooredoo’s Chief Customer Experience Officer continued: “I am grateful for the wise vision and leadership of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos, whose forward-looking policies have created an environment in which we all can not only flourish professionally but also contribute to the prosperity and progress of Oman.”

Since its inception, Ooredoo has maintained not only a commitment to equal opportunities but also to empowering women. The company has also launched a number of incubator programmes exclusively to provide women with vocational training and resources in the disciplines of Information Technology, beauty, cooking, and sewing. The initiatives have helped empower 170 women with income generating skills and inspired the socio-economic growth of local communities across the Sultanate.
