Mobilk - Ooredoo’s very own Manager of Internal Communications Channels, Laila Al Harthy, claimed first place in the 12th Annual Oman’s Women’s Bowling Tournament singles category. Organised at the Oman Bowling Centre in Al Khuwair by the Ministry of Sports Affairs, Al Harthy’s thrilling victory saw her triumph over a line-up of 40 players from across the Sultanate’s public and private sector. The national team player also claimed third place in the doubles event with partner Nunu Al Maskary, and took third place during the tournament’s Grand Masters Finale.
Al Harthy, said, “It was great to achieve this milestone success during a tournament of this calibre while representing my extended family at Ooredoo. They have always given me their full support with my bowling, offering me the encouragement and time I need to rise in the national team and showcase my skills. Together, we have shown how gifted women at our company can rise in their careers as well as pursuing individual talent and, in my case, inspiring another generation of professional bowlers.”
