Zain, part of the Zain Group, the leading mobile operator in the Middle East and Africa offered the second grand prize to one winner of the “Zayyen Hayatak” competition, a huge nation-wide competition that was launched by Zain as part of its series of annual promotional campaigns.
Zain CEO Abdulmalek Al Jaber offered the 2010 custom paid and fully licensed Audi A4 to winner Mr. Youssef Mohammad Asaad Mahmoud who was the winner after the second grand prize draw. Said
draw was conducted in the presence of Mr. Basel Al Jaghbeer from the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
In “Zayyen Hayatak”, participants had the chance to win one of three 2010 custom paid and fully licensed Audi A4s. Two cars have been won so far with the third to be offered to the third grand prize winner at the end of the competition.
To date, Zain offered 42 Nokia E72 cellular phone, in addition to six vouchers worth 2000 Dinars each from Damas Jewelry to its winners.
To join the competition, participants can send the number “9” to 92010 and then answer a number of general information questions. They will receive 20 points upon registration and then 20 points for every correct answer and 10 points for every wrong answer. Each point is considered as an additional chance to win. Messages are priced at 45 Piasters each.
Zain’s Director of Marketing Ra’fat al-Nawawi said “Zayyen Hayatak” competition is just another way to say thank you to our customers who exceed 2.5 million, and a means to engage the latest mobile technology in their service.
Mr. al-Nawawi said the daily, weekly and monthly draws is held under the supervision of the Ministry of Trade and Industry whose representatives witness the procedures to ensure fairness. He wished all participants good luck during this and future campaigns.
