Zain Saudi Arabia participates in the World Water Day

and launches awareness text messages through its channels confirming its interest in sustained development

Mobilk - "Zain Saudi Arabia" participates today Thursday 22 March 2012 in an awareness campaign to rationalize the consumption of water under the title (Let’s make rational consumption of water, a way of life). This participation comes on the sidelines of World Water Day which falls on 22 of March each year, in cooperation with the Ministry of Water and Electricity represented by the General Administration of Awareness and Rationalization. The Company said it will participate in this event by sending text messages (SMS) to its customers, in addition to using channels of social communication of the company on (Facebook, Twitter) as they witness significant attendance  by the public, as well as display of awareness messages in its Zain World flagships.

 

The Company succeeded in reducing the consumption of water in its buildings through raising the level of awareness among its staff, in addition to the installation of devices to reduce water consumption in the main buildings and its affiliates in the various regions and cities of the kingdom.

 

The Company said that its contribution to the event comes out of its understanding to the importance of dealing positively with the issue of water in the world in general and in Saudi Arabia in particular, through supporting government efforts to achieve its noble goals, which are designed to ensure the highest levels of awareness of the importance of water in Saudi society and how to conserve it through the application of appropriate plans and strategies in this regard.

 

The company added that the rationalization of water consumption and its interest in the environment are considered as part of its commitment to sustainability in all aspects of life, where the company stressed that the success of its business and its future growth is closely and directly linked with all of whom the Company deals with such as customers, employees and business partners, as well as the community and the surrounding environment which it deals with.
