Mobilk - Aruba Networks is set to help Middle East organizations tackle the challenges of establishing and maintaining an all-wireless workplace, through its participation at the upcoming GITEX Technology Week which will be held in Dubai from 12-16 October, 2014. The company will demonstrate its portfolio of 802.11ac wireless solutions which deliver stable, secure, simple and intelligent Wi-Fi networks that operate at gigabit speeds and cater to the needs of the modern office.
A global survey conducted by Aruba earlier this year, highlighted the emergence of a new breed of workers dubbed #GenMobile characterized by their preference for mobility, both in terms of the devices they use and their approach to work. The research showed that 58% of these mobile workers prefer Wi-Fi at the expense of other connections (4G, 3G or wired). Ammar Enaya, general manager of Aruba Networks Middle East says, “This has forced organizations to rethink their networks. The workplace of the future will need secure wireless infrastructure to attract #GenMobile talent and provide them with the tools they need for productivity and innovation.”
The company is positioning itself as a one-stop-shop for the WLAN requirements of organizations of all sizes and lines of business. At Gitex the company will demonstrate its WLAN Access Points (APs) and mobility controllers that are purpose-built for the 802.11ac standard and even improve the wireless experience for 802.11n devices which connect to the network. It will also showcase its ClearPass Access Management System that enables policy management, guest access, automated onboarding workflows, device health checks, and other self-service capabilities - all from one platform - on any multivendor network. “Using ClearPass, businesses can dynamically profile devices as they connect to the network, which in turn helps fine tune policies. The solution then aids policy management and automation, allowing granular control based on user roles, device types, ownership, and location,” said Ammar Enaya.
The capabilities of ClearPass are supplemented by Aruba AirWave, which is another solution that the vendor will demonstrate at GITEX. AirWave gives network administrators complete visibility into the wireless network, allowing them to plan for capacity, visualize client performance and troubleshoot application issues in a proactive manner.
Commenting on the importance of engaging with new and existing channel partners and customers during the exhibition, Enaya says, “GITEX is the years most important event for any and everybody in the Middle East IT community. Many of the relationships we enjoy with partners and customers today have evolved out of interactions that took place during previous editions of the show. We expect that the exciting solutions we bring to the show this year will attract a very positive response from the industry.”
Aruba Networks stand at Gitex is D1-30 in Hall 1.
