Vodafone Qatar begins work on fibre optic network

Vodafone Qatar has started building its fibre optic backbone network, capable of delivering fast data speeds and better call quality to business and home consumers, the Peninsula has reported. The fibre optic backbone, which will be connected to the Qatar National Broadband Network (QNBN) initiative, provides fibre-to-home and businesses throughout the entire country.
