VIVA Organizes the First Media Reception .

Al-Awadi: We Value Your efforts as Partners of Accomplishment.

VIVA has held a special reception in honor of veteran journalists, to which editors-in-chief and managing editors of local newspapers and magazines, local and world press reporters and distinguished TV and Radio media personnel were invited. The function was labeled VIVA’s ‘First Media Reception’, which simply meant to be the first in a chain and that more such functions were to come. The function was held at the Marina Waves and was noted for its unusually informal aura, where friendly encounters between media men and VIVA officials took place in a relaxed atmosphere.

VIVA’s CEO ENG. Najeeb Al-Awadi welcomed the invitees with his usual big friendly smile, and took care to maintain an informal easy atmosphere. However, curious press reporters attending the function showered him with questions. Al-Awadi, known for his superb relation with the media and media men, said that the reception was meant to express appreciation for the huge support so far rendered to VIVA since its launch by the media, describing them as a true partner to the accomplishments made thenceforth.

Al-Awadi paid tribute to the role played by the local press in steering public opinion, stressing admiration for its leverage in covering local events.

He voiced interest in listening to views and opinions on VIVA’s performance as felt by the media, which reflected the street pulse, adding that he received many queries and suggestions on his personal blog, which he described as a creative communicative technique to keep in touch with VIVA’s clients: citizens and residents.

In the end, the invitees expressed gratefulness for VIVA’s unprecedented honoring imitative and said they had a very good time away from the hustle bustle of their profession.
