More Free SMS and MMS

As part of the ongoing enhancement of Shahry Value Packs, Qtel is adding more SMS and MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) to Packs than ever before.

 

Customers will get a bumper pack of SMS and MMS with every Shahry Value Pack. As a special bonus, people will be able to send MMS and SMS as part of their monthly allowance, offering a massive saving on the popular service for sharing text, audio, images, animation, and video.

 

The boost to the SMS/MMS bundles comes after extensive research from Qtel, which showed that MMS in particular is emerging as one of the favoured ways of staying touch with friends and family. By closing the distinction between SMS and MMS, Qtel believes they will be freeing customers to get the most from their mobile phones, and fuelling a sense of excitement about the potential for next generation communication.

 

With the new service enhancement, customers using the Shahry 575 pack will get an amazing 750 SMS and MMS every month, up from 200 a month. They will be able to send 750 MMS messages, 750 SMS or a mix of the two.

 

Customers using the Shahry 300 pack will now automatically be able to send up to 250 SMS/MMS at no additional cost – more than double the current allowance of 100 messages.

 

Shahry 130 and Shahry 200 customers will also benefit, receiving 50 SMS/MMS (up from 30) and 100 SMS/MMS (up from 60) respectively. All Packs have access to the interchangeable MMS/SMS allowance option, so that everybody can get the most out of Qtel’s advanced, reliable networks.

 

The additional SMS and MMS are part of an ongoing series of surprises designed to deliver more choice and great value for Qtel customers. Last week, Qtel boosted the number of call minutes with every pack, offering as many as 500 extra call minutes every month for Shahry 575 customers.

 

Each Shahry Value Pack offers a bundle of call minutes, SMS, MMS and data options in return for a monthly fee, supported by great Shahry rates, making them among the most cost-effective communication options in Qatar.

 

When customers exceed the call allowance within any given month, they only have to pay the highly-competitive standard Shahry rates. Unused credit is carried into the next month's allowance, so that everyone can get the full benefit from their Pack.

 

Customers can choose the Pack that suits their monthly needs, and move up or down the different Value Packs as often as they want for no additional charge.
