Zain Dream radio program Directly on the air

Zain Bahrain’s popular and innovative Zain Dream’s initiative which rewards dreamers with a vision to create a better society has crossed yet another boundary by going on air!

The radio program on 93.3 FM (Arabic) called “Dreams Come True With Zain” can be heard every evening at 5.30 p.m. till the end of this week. The show has had a huge audience tuning in and listeners calling in with descriptions of their dreams.

The show also hosts Zain Bahrain representatives like General Manager Mr. Mohammed Zainalabedin and Corporate Communications Manager Ms. Samya Hussain as well as the panel of judges who decide on the Zain Dream awards and previous winners of the campaign. Callers can the program on 13618888 to take part.

“This program has proved to be an exciting way to make the Zain Dream campaign even more relevant to the community,” said Samya Hussain, “By listening to other Dreamers, more people understand that the Zain Dream campaign is not just about themselves but about serving the community and living life to their fullest potential.”

Each caller in the interactive show has a minute to outline his/her dream and how it will benefit society. The judges of the Zain Dream project will choose from the callers’ dreams as to which is the most suitable winner. The winner will be announced on the last day of the show on Thursday, August 20th 2009.

The Zain Dream campaign which started in 2008 has empowered 11 winners so far, who have received BD 5000 each and Zain Bahrain’s support to enrich society with art projects, sports projects for special needs children, a women’s business forum and support for Bahraini craftspeople among others.

While the radio show is in Arabic, the project is open to people of all nationalities including expatriate residents of Bahrain. Non-Arabic speakers need to only write down their dream and drop it off at any of Zain Bahrain’s 11 Experience Stores across Bahrain where special Zain Dream drop-boxes are available.
