Offering free of charge mobile calls for Pilgrims from Orange Jordan

Orange Jordan, the sole integrated telecom operator, has introduced a first-of-its-kind roaming offer in the local telecom sector enabling pay monthly customers (including corporate offers) and subscribers to Army, Smart, and Star offers to receive calls from any GSM or fixed network across the globe while roaming in 9 countries for only 10 piasters per minute.

Orange Mobile CEO Mrs. Majd Shweikeh highlighted the main features of the new offer during a media roundtable held at the headquarters of Jordan Telecom Group (JTG).

Mrs. Shweikeh pointed out that what makes this offer an unmatched one in the local market is the pricing transparency, the base of Orange’s strategy.  “This offer is a simple and clear one with a flat rate saving any unexpected costs the customer might encounter with other operators,” commented Shweikeh.  “Moreover, the offer stands out as it applies to the  most visited destinations in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar, Iraq and the UAE, and outside the Middle East such as Africa, Europe (France, the UK), and North America (the USA and Canada).”
