Mobily’s latest service for Mabuhay customers enables them to inquire about their Social Security System accounts in their home country, the Philippines. This services comes just after one week of launching the new promotion on Mabuhay package, where the new customers on Mabuhay package will get double their recharges. This new promotion includes customers changing their network to Mobily while keeping their mobile number.
Through the SMS-based service, dubbed SSS-Text, members of the Filipino community who use Mobily’s purpose-designed Mabuhay bundle can use simple text commands to inquire about their SSS contributions, loan status, loan balance and payment periods. This is the first time in the world the SSS-Text service becomes available outside the Philippines.
According to Mobily, the SSS-Text service will enable customers to check their account contributions, determine the status of a member's salary loan application, get information on the salary loan payment period and to get information on loan balance through SMS. Mabuhay customers only need to send an SMS containing the text "SSS" to short code 600500. The message costs only SAR 1.5.
