Etisalat announces its sponsorship of the Abu Dhabi Golf Championship

Etisalat today announced its sponsorship of the Abu Dhabi Golf Championship. The tournament will take place in Abu Dhabi between 17 to 21 November. This championship is now numbered amongst the most important events in the international golf calendar and has succeeded in attracting champions from around the world.

HH Sheikh Sultan Bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Chairman, Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority, Chairman of Higher Committee organizing the championship, appreciated Etisalat’s support for this event. "Etisalat has become a proud example of national corporations committed to supporting sport events and activities. The association with this Championship reflects the important role it plays in preparing national athletes to participate in regional and international competitions."

During Abu Dhabi Golf Championships 2007, the Etisalat chalet, is expected top host a large number golf celebrities and professionals. The presence of a fun golf simulator enables spectators to sample what it feels like to take a shot on the green. Etisalat’s stand in the exhibition area is also an attraction for visitors, who are able to learn more about products and services of the telco as well as participate in more fun games.
