Greeting its customers on the occasion of New Year’s Day, du urged its customers to take the maximum advantage of all day off-peak rates during 1st January 2010 and connect with friends and family back home and throughout the UAE.
During New Year’s Day, all international calls made from mobile and fixed lines will be charged at du’s off-peak rate, while national SMS messages will be charged at a special rate of 15 fils (instead of original cost of 18 fils per SMS), and international SMS at just 45 fils (instead of original cost of 60 fils per SMS).
“We would like to wish the residents of the UAE a prosperous New Year. In times of such celebration we want to give all du customers a reason to celebrate with their friends and family both locally and abroad by offering all-day off peak international calling rates and special national and international SMS rates,” said Farid Faraidooni, EVP Commercial, du.
