Qtel customers can now receive SMS and video alerts from English Premier League, Spanish and Italian Leagues

Qtel today announced a dramatic expansion in its Qatar Football alert service. From today Qtel customers can now not only receive near-live video goal highlights of Qatari League matches, but also subscribe to SMS and video alerts from English Premier League, Spanish and Italian Leagues.

The Asian Games multimedia mobile experience highlighted the significant interest our customers have in getting compelling content delivered in near real time and with text, colour and movement. We are delighted to re-launch Qatar Football with video and introduce the 3 main world leagues to our customers. And don’t worry, there are more leagues to come!”
Qtel provides alerts in both English and Arabic. It costs 10 QR per league per month to receive the SMS alerts. Customers who elect to receive the SMS + Video subscription packages will be charged 10 QR per month for the SMS alerts plus between 3-5 QR each for the video downloads.
