Qtel is once again the principal sponsor of the Doha Cultural Festival (DCF) as parts of its continued commitment to Qatar which includes support for the community, sport, road safety, education, health and special needs.
The festival is one of the biggest and most significant events in Qatar’s calendar and runs from February 28th to March 6th. It features music, visual arts, poetry, cinema, folklore and a marine parade of traditional ships as well as fireworks at the Doha Corniche (day one).
Adel Al Mutawa, Executive Director of Group Communications said: “We’re absolutely delighted to be involved once again with the Festival which is such a central part of Doha’s community life. The festival will incorporate Arabic and other cultural traditions. This represents Qatar as an emerging international capital and forum for global dialogue.
