Visitors of Omantel and Oman Mobile's pavilion are very enthusiastic to test the new services of the 3.5G network; the high speed mobile broadband Internet, which now covers Dhofar governorate and other regions of the Sultanate. Through Oman Mobile’s different mobile broadband packages, customers are able to download their favorite movies, music, browse the web and check their email.
Mada customers can subscribe to the 1GB, 15GB, 30GB, 10 hour or 30 hour package by sending a SMS to 90898. For example, if a customer would like to subscribe to the 30GB package; the customer will send 30G to 90898.
On the other hand, Hayyak customers have the option of two pre-paid packages which are the 10 hour and the 60 hour package. Customers wishing to subscribe to either package will be required to send a SMS with text 141 to 90015. July 22nd 2009
