Oman Mobile has recently launched credit transfer service CTS from the post-paid Mada Package to the pre-paid Hayyak.

This new step comes as part of the company's efforts to expand the scope of mobile phone value added services in order to satisfy subscribers requirements and expectations of the telecom services. This initiative comes within the framework of continued efforts of Oman Mobile to improve and develop its services by introducing modern technologies in order to keep pace with the ever-changing status in the Sultanate telecom market.

This service is the further addition to the wide range of value-added services introduced by Oman Mobile that makes the subscribers life easier and pleasant. The CTS enables postpaid subscribers (Mada) to make several transfers to prepaid (Hayyak) users, provided that the monthly transferred amount should not exceed RO15, whereat the maximum rate per day RO2 and the minimum not less than RO1. The service also enables subscribers to transfer credit while roaming outside the Sultanate."

Mada users can subscribe to CTS upon activating the service at their mobile handsets by dialing:- *444* pin * confirm pin # call, example when the customer chooses 2222 as a password, then the sequence will be (*444*2222*2222# call).

Oman Mobile has created simple, fast and secure steps for credit transfer. For example if a customer wishes to transfer 1RO (amount must be in Baizas) and he/she selects the password 2222, then the sequence will be: (*444*2222*928XXXXX*1000# call). The subscriber will then receive a SMS requesting him/her to confirm the process by selecting (1) or cancel it by selecting (2). Finally, he/she will receive a text message advising completion of the process.

Oman Mobile has recently introduced several alternatives for credit transfer to Hayyak package users, including e-top up at Oman Mobile and Omantel centers or through payment machines linked to Oman Arab Bank and Bank Dhofar, or through the Internet via Oman Mobile website.
