Syriatel launches General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) service inside and outside Syria

To fulfill the needs a high number of youth to use mobile services, Syriatel has launched a new product "Ya Hala Shabab" prepaid card which is derived from the concept of "paying less and obtaining more". This card includes a series of services that enables Syriatel subscribers to save money by controlling their monthly spending.

The "Ya Hala Shabab" card is the first product launched by Syriatel especially for youth segment and already pre-charged with both a bouquet of services and units and valid for 30 days. The Ya Halal card grants the subscribers a credit of 450 units (free use) in addition to a bouquet of services including 50 local SMS, 10 local MMS and 5MB of GPRS (General Packet Radio Service)

Any subscriber can benefit from Ya Hala Shabab package by recharging with 600 units through Abili "the electronic charge" from any point of service to obtain a new credit of units and a bouquet of services of Ya hala Shabab at a price of 450 SYP. While if recharging with the normal voucher, the subscriber will only benefit from the units amount and the validity of the recharging voucher.

The main reason for Syriatel to launch “Ya hala Shabab” card, is to support the new generation of younger people, and offer them the opportunity to use the most advanced technologies in the field of mobile telecommunication at reasonable prices. The “Ya Hala Shabab” will grant its users the possibility to share their lovely moments by sending extra SMS, MMS and enjoy extra time of using the internet on their handsets.
