Zain, the leading telecommunications operator in Kuwait announces that it has upgraded and expanded its networks to support download speeds up to 21.6 Mbps the highest mobile broadband speeds ever in the region.
The Chief Executive Officer of Zain Kuwait engineer Khalid AL-Hajeri said in this occasion : “This is great news for our mobile broadband customers who can now enjoy surfing the internet at speeds up to 21.6 Mbps inside Kuwait”.
He said : “Zain is the first company in the region to provide broadband speeds up to 21.6 Mbps. This will surely enhance the experience of our customers while browsing, downloading large files in addition to streaming live broadcast of television channels & radio stations on the internet. In addition Zain will also be providing devices that support broadband speed up to 21.6 Mbps to the market in the coming weeks.
Al -Hajeri concluded “This is another regional first in our endeavor to ensure that Zain offers the enhanced speed, quality and variety that our customers are looking for from a broadband service. The main objective of the company is to provide preferential treatment to Zain customers.
