under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Sattam Ibn Abdel Aziz Al Saud,Zain in Saudi Arabia has officially sponsored the inaugural conference on ‘Saudization’ and job creation, held recently under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Sattam Ibn Abdel Aziz Al Saud, Deputy Governor of the Riyadh Region, at Olaya House Hotel in Riyadh. The conference was attended by a number of their Highnesses the Princes, ministers as well as leading businessmen, and CEOs of major companies.
 
The aim of the conference was to link public and private entities to the banking sector to boost employment through the adoption of bespoke financial mechanisms. Two programs were adopted during the conference: “Al-Iqtesad”, which aims to improve the standard of living of Saudi citizens, and “Aman”, which will promote local training schemes within the private sector aimed especially at those living outside Riyadh.

“Zain’s sponsorship of this conference reflects its strong CSR ethos,” said Zain in Saudi Arabia’s Chief Operational Officer, Ismail Fikree.  “We want to help train those wishing to enter the job market and create a framework for job creation in Saudi Arabia.”
 
The conference is not the first that Zain has supported in the Kingdom. Under the “Professionally, we can achieve” logo, and in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, it was the Golden Sponsor of the Second Occupational Guidance Forum, held at Al-Faisal Academy. Zain was also one of the prominent sponsors at the 8th Conference of the Ministers of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Meetings, hosted in Saudi Arabia under the patronage of King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud. Finally, Zain provided the telecommunications infrastructure and technical know-how for the 27th Circle of the World Understanding Council in the King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Economic City.
