Jawwal's staff donate blood for the Palestinian hospitals

The day before yesterday, units of blood were donated by Jawwal's staff in cooperation with the Palestinian Red Crescent society aiming to fulfill the Palestinian hospitals' need to bridge the deficit in available blood, aiming to contribute in helping patients who are in need for all types of blood units.

This comes within a campaign of the national blood transfusion services of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society under the slogan: "Blood Donation, a national and humane duty."

It is noteworthy that this is not the first time in which Jawwal's staff donates blood, they have already donated blood in the past years for the benefit of national Palestinian hospitals and patients, especially Thalassemia patients.

Anwar Shamasnah who is in charge of the mobilization department in the Palestinian Red Crescent Society said: "Today we reiterate this partnership with Jawwal, in which we as management and staff thank and appreciate their cooperation since we've started this project years ago. He added,"Here is Jawwal today with its quick response and willingness to embrace this humanitarian and national activity, as this campaign is part of a series of campaigns organized by the Centre in all national institutions across the nation aiming to fill the gap in the blood bank. "

He added that this campaign is the fourth of its kind organized in Jawwal, adding that there is a large percentage of staff remained in constant contact with the Centre for Blood Donation.

Jawwal's Public Relation Manager;Mr.Fateh Omar thanked the national blood transfusion services' staff for their noble humanitarian effort, saying that this effort demonstrates the reality and the leading humanitarian role played by the Red Crescent Society, which in turn deepen the sense of community's responsibility.

He added: "This step was a result of Jawwal's Initiative in assisting patients, particularly as we are seeing many of the growing needs. Omar has also called on all national institutions and companies to do such steps which contribute to this national humanitarian project.
