Etisalat main sponsors of Ajman Urban Planning Conference

Etisalat today announced that it was one of the main sponsors for the ‘Ajman Urban Planning Conference’ (AUPC) taking place from February 19-20, 2007 in Ajman. The conference which is being held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, the Municipality and Planning Department has attracted experts and international specialists in urban planning, site coordination, land development and real estate During the conference, speakers will hold discussions sharing their experiences in the latest urban planning practices impacting real estate and property development.

They will discuss projects from other parts of the world the likes of which have not been implemented in the United Arab Emirates and in the region, stressing the need to develop land and real estate in order to achieve a comprehensive urban development.

The conference focuses on the best global experiences from the Middle East, North Africa, Europe, Asia, North America, and the Atlantic. It will focus also on the exploration and development of new urban planning and development paradigms to suit the requirements of this unique environment. The annual conference will be the first step in developing a series of events and activities designed to promote the development of home-grown urban planning solutions in master planning, property development and real estate, transportation, and infrastructure provision.

The conference will be accompanied by a large number of events and activities following the student competition, and exhibition of urban projects. Workshops, that will enrich participants, will cover urban planning, land development, real estate investment, transportation, and supplying infrastructure.
