Riding Harley Davidson motorbikes, Anwar Hemly and Abdullah Al-Mo’nes used data SIMs from Mobily to post videos of their journey on a website especially set up for the trip, as well as to stay on schedule. “We are very proud of Mobily’s support for us and our ride,” said Helmy. “The data SIMs helped us upload videos of all the places we visited, with shots of landscapes that can be kept as an archive of the Kingdom’s cities. They also gave us the opportunity to support voting for the Ahsaa Oasis’s entry into the World’s Seven Wonders by photographing its beauty and uploading the shots on the website.”
He added that the trip gave them the opportunity to reach out to the Kingdom’s children, distributing more than 3,000 gifts to them from the Sanad Society for Cancer Children in all the towns they visited, thus spreading the culture of voluntary charity work.
The two travellers chose Mobily after they found out that the company had covered more than 230 towns, villages and highways with 3G, which helped them use broadband Internet to upload their videos.
