Nawras, a Qtel Group company, recently concluded its latest successful bowling competition in Muscat which saw more than 150 participants taking part and enjoying a most entertaining contest. Nawras marketing director, Eric Kerboriou and members of the Nawras marketing team were on hand for the final games and presented the prizes to the winning professionals and amateurs.
George emerged as the triumphant winner for the men’s professionals, with Moosa Al Maimani coming in second and Ali Nasser taking third place. The ladies professional winner was Myra who picked up the top prize, Samm held second place and Samar Mukadam walked away with the third prize. In the amateur category, congratulations went to Yaqoub Al-Balushi who finished first, followed by Ramon and then Mohamed Saud in third place.
The competition was divided up to enable ladies to play against ladies and men to play men in the professional category while a third group was composed of those who play purely for fun. Impressive performances were given by everyone who took part and enjoyed the event. The winners were particularly delighted to receive their prizes of a BlackBerry handset, routers and iPods as well as Nawras Ajel and Nawras Mousbak SIM-cards with credit.
“This is the second bowling tournament we have organised for our customers,” said Eric Kerboriou, Marketing Director. “The response has been terrific and with our pleasingly different approach, the event proved to be a great success all round. It was an added bonus to have so many highly skilled participants who have previously proudly represented the country in competitions abroad.”
