Omantel takes its new enhanced brand

Muscat: Omantel has taken its enhanced brand identity and new tagline of “Together” to the cities, towns and villages of Oman this week with its gold sponsorship of the nation’s biggest international sporting event – the Tour of Oman.
The new visual look of the brand, created to illustrate the new Omantel operating model visually, is featuring strongly on roadside branding, banners, team support vehicles and the daily winner’s podium at locations all over the country as the race continues featuring 128 of the world’s best cyclists.
The enhanced brand logo has stayed true to the Omantel logo, which embodies the Omani heritage, in the form of the Khanjar, and has been blended with the orange of the Oman Mobile logo to signify the vibrant and progressive spirit of the group.
The Omantel name, combined both in Arabic and English, is now cradled and encapsulated in our new brand symbol reflecting one of our values; caring.
Meanwhile the new tagline reflects Omantel’s philosophy of togetherness which is at the heart of everything the company does as it leads the way in bringing individuals, families, businesses and communities together using leading edge technologie.
Commenting on their support for the race, Omantel’s Senior Manager for Events and Sponsorship, Hamdan Moosa Al Harasi said: “A nationwide celebration of sport like the Tour of Oman is the ideal way to continue to introduce the new enhanced brand and tagline to the people of Oman as tens of thousands of people come out to watch the race everyday.
“The Tour of Oman is an event that will help to bring the nation together and connect people across the nation through a shared love of sport – and reinforce our message of ‘Together’ that we are now actively communicating in many ways.”
Following the launch of the enhanced brand a week ago, Omantel has already launched its new website – www.omantel.om – that brings together all the customer requirements for fixed, mobile and internet services together on one easy to use and navigate portal.
