Muscat: Oman Mobile conducted last Monday its first draw for its first promotion scheme (talk & win) at Qurum City Center among a sizable crowed of invitees and center customers. The interaction was so fabulous especially in presence of children. The event was held under the auspices of Talal bin Said Al Ma'amari VP for Financial Unit, a representative of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and a number of Omantel Officials.
Oman Mobile program was keenly prepared to introduce diverse paragraphs, including magic tricks, children competitions, face painting and prizes for the children. The idea was to image and reflect its new logo and tagline “together” which interprets its interaction with the community in all aspects. The guest of honour then conducted the first draw to select winners of 41 prizes offered by Oman Mobile for its customers which included: 10 BlackBerry handsets, 10 Play Stations, 10 laptops and 10 Sony flat-screen, in addition to the grand prize of a Lexus 350 R X. The lucky winner of the Lexus was Zubaidah bint Saud bin Ahmed al-Shithani.
On her part, Zubaidah al-Shithani expressed her overwhelming delight for winning the Lexus offered by Oman Mobile on top of its “Talk & Win” promotion scheme. “I was aware of the “talk & win” offer announced by Oman Mobile early this year. and I am a “Mada” postpaid subscriber and I am always keen to pay bill dues on time” said Zubaidah al-Shithani, “ I was dreaming of winning the car nor even care of winning any of the set offers as a I believe I am not for winning draws particularly that I have never won in a draw before”. “On the day set for the draw” she added, “I was browsing through a local newspaper when I caught the invitation to attend the draw ceremony. It never struck my mind that I might be the lucky winner of the car. Hence, I had routine day until the evening when I received three calls from some of my relatives who attended the event, congratulating me for winning the grand prize. The news was confirmed when I received a call from the Media & PR Manager and then a call from the representative of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry”.
Giving more details of herself, Zubaidah al-Shithani said that she was member of Oman Mobile family for many years, elaborating “I am proud to be part of this family, which always provides useful offers for us and saves no efforts to provide the best services. We wish the company keeps on the success track under its new brand”.
"Talk & Win" offer is the first offer for Oman Mobile subscriber for this new year. Subscriber are eligible for the draw upon spending airtime equals One Riyal only and get a chance to win fabulous prizes along three months and win three luxury Lexus cars as well as 120 prizes comprising (Sony Vaio) laptops, PlayStations 3, TVs (Sony LCDs) 46 inches and BlackBerry handsets.The second draw will be held on 15 March and the final third drawing will be on 17 April.
