Omantel Provides Free Admission to Oman-Kuwait

Muscat: Omantel has announced that it has bought all the available tickets for the forthcoming crucial Asian Cup match between Oman and Kuwait on 3 March to ensure free entry for fans.
The company is a major supporter of the Omani Sports in general and the national football team in particular and has made this generous gesture to ensure a packed house of Omani soccer fans to cheer on their side in the make or break fixture.
Omantel has taken the initiative just two weeks after launching its new enhanced brand and “Together” tagline as another positive step towards helping bringing communities together across Oman.
Hamdan Moosa Al Harasi, Senior Manager Events and Sponsorship at Omantel said: “We have taken the step to help ensure that as many Omani fans as possible can get together to cheer on our team in this vital game. Victory against Kuwait will help with qualification for the Asian Cup Finals that will be held in Doha in 2011.

He explained that now Omantel has bought all the available tickets for the match, supporters can simply turn up on the evening of 3 March and be admitted to the game free of charge.
“It is also another excellent high profile sporting opportunity for Omantel to promote its new enhanced brand and “Together” tagline following the recent sponsorship of the highly successful Tour of Oman cycling race”, added Mr. Al Harasi.
