Mobilk - Zain Bahrain, the telecoms technology leader in the Kingdom of Bahrain added a virtual tech twist to its participation in the annual Career Expo that enables young Bahrainis to acquire vocational skills, learn of job openings and gain opportunities for professional growth.

The telecoms company used the event as a platform to screen young Bahrainis for job suitability with a quick test in their on-site computer lab which used an array of 30 computers to administer the test to more than 500 visitor students and job seekers.

The results of the test will help the students to assess their job skills and workplace suitability and Zain Bahrain will take the process one step further to invite them to the Zain Bahrain office for further evaluations.

It was also a great place to showcase Zain Bahrains unique work experience programme called Future University Network which Zain Bahrain runs to mentor and teach young people how the real workplace is through real time jobs at Zain.

In addition, the company displayed its range of special offers on Tablets and state or the art handsets.

"Career Expo is a great gateway to future talent and Zain Bahrain is delighted that it could once again be the official telecoms partner of this youth centric programme that ties in wellwith our youth empowerment CSR objectives," said Corporate Communications Manager Mrs. Samya Hussein.

Organised under the patronage of His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Career Expo 2012 was held at the Bahrain International Convention Centre.
