The Palestine’s Cellular Communications Co. Ltd. “Jawwal”, a subsidiary of Paltel Groups is still providing its subscribers day after day with new services and plans to keep pace with the latest cellular communications technology developments, aiming at providing more facilities and features. By making access to mobile services easier, Jawwal has earned the confidence of the one million and a half subscribers.
In this respect, ‘Jawwal’ added “Jawwal Thawani” Plan to the prepaid plans which is based on pricing calls by seconds and starting from the first second; second call rate is 1 Agora only. Therefore, subscribers who make short phone calls will benefit from a price based on the exact call duration, which will lead to less expenses for them. Accordingly, ‘Jawwal Thawani” plan comes after Jawwal launched an unlimited validity SIM card to the prepaid subscribers, and reduced the Starter kit price to become 49 NIS only.
In this context, Jawwal offered its prepaid subscribers ‘Niqatak’ plan which is based on granting customers 1 point for each 1 NIS spent. After that, the collected points can be redeemed into credit for calls, SMSs, or MMSs.
Mr. Maen Melhem, Jawwal’s Marketing Department Director, confirmed that ‘Jawwal Thawani’ plan offers prepaid subscribers all characteristics to assure they enjoy Jawwal services at lower cost and appropriate features. Melhem also pointed out that pricing per second is applicable when making calls from Jawwal to Jawwal only. However, calls to other destinations are based on units. “All current prepaid subscribers can benefit from ‘Jawwal Thawani’ plan after a month from the launching date.” He declared.
Finally, Mr. Melhem said “Our duty is not confined to offering more features and facilities for our subscribers; we also do direct the subscriber to choose the plan that fits its needs. For example, subscribers who make short and numerous calls should subscribe to ‘Jawwal Thawani’ plan, and the ones who make long calls to specific numbers, especially young people and students; they should subscribe to ‘Dardesh’ plan because it provides them with special and reduced prices when calling the 6 selected numbers they choose. ‘Dardesh’ plan also enables subscribers to call at reduced prices during off-peak times, including Fridays and official occasions.”
