Vodafone Qatar launches global World of Difference programme

Vodafone Qatar announced today that their global ‘World of Difference' programme would be launched here in Qatar this year.  The programme will pay the salaries of up to four people, while they work on a charitable cause of their choice for one year.

"The programme was first launched in New Zealand in 2003 and is now the flagship programme of the Vodafone Group Foundation and a number of Vodafone operating companies around the world" said Jan Mottram, Human Resources Director, Vodafone Qatar.

 "It's about connecting passionate people to alocal need. We'll then help them to complete a project that will make a sustained difference to the lives of others. We are excited to be launching the programme here in Qatar and look forward to continuing to make a world of difference for all people in Qatar"continued Jan Mottram.

To date, more than 100 projects have been completed in over 30 countries, which have positively impacted the lives of thousands of people around the world.
