Qatar Telecom extends Mozaic SMS chat to Egypt

Qtel announced today that following on from its successful launch of “Mozaic SMS Chat” in February 2008 the service has now been extended to Egypt. As part of the special summer promotion any Mozaic SMS Chat user will now automatically be entered into weekly draw to win a Nokia N82.  9 Nokia N82 handsets will be awarded over the 9 week promotional period. The more the customer chats, the greater their chance of winning!

Mozaic SMS Chat is very similar to other chat applications on the internet where customers can register, create a nickname and start chatting with other users or join public chat rooms to discuss topics such as football and movies. It connects people with common interests in a convenient and fun way all via their mobile phone.

The service is mainly targeted at mobile communities but customers can also connect to their Yahoo and MSN contacts while being away from their computer using this unique SMS interface.  It’s strictly anonymous, secure and addictive with over 200000 registered users already chatting across Qatar, Oman and Egypt.
