Mobilk - Batelco, the Kingdom’s leading integrated communications services provider was selected by Rotana Group Bahrain as their preferred ICT and telecommunication partner, to provide a turnkey solution for its network security, unified communication and telecommunication requirements.  The solution, delivered in collaboration with industry leader Cisco, has been used to address Rotana Bahrain’s communication requirements. 

Rotana Group, the largest entertainment company in the Arab World, chose to set up its operational head office in Bahrain and accordingly required a top quality, reliable network to serve its publication and corporate communication requirements. Batelco worked closely with Rotana Group’s IT team leader Daneh Abuahmad to identify its specialised requirements. Enhanced security was a key requirement to the design and additionally, the Rotana team wanted to ensure that they were able to control their  published application through Citrix  besides guaranteeing sufficient uptime for applications 

Batelco was required to implement the setup with minimal downtime as IT operations worked in tandem with the current KSA setup. Batelco’s experienced project management and deployment teams worked closely with Rotana to ensure the efficient delivery of key Cisco technologies based on Unified Borderless networking, unified communication and enterprise networking.
