Nawras, the Sultanate’s customer friendly communications provider, celebrated the occasion of the new Hijri, by handing out gifts of dates to the many visitors at both the Nawras stand at Al Qurm Park and at Al Athaiba Muscat Festival grounds. This gesture is in keeping with Nawras always marking special events and occasions with its ‘fastest growing family in Oman’.
Visitors to the Nawras stalls appreciated the presents from Nawras, particularly as dates are considered to signify tradition and culture in the Sultanate. Having dates on hand at home for guests is regarded as polite and welcoming in Omani culture and for that reason, Nawras decided to distribute the date gift packs, which were adorned with a sticker of the Nawras logo and a message wishing a happy and prosperous year to Nawras customers.
