Nawras, the Middle East Mobile Operator of the Year, has taken to the seas with its new eye-catching Mobile Store to reach Masirah Island where the company received a very warm welcome and incredible interest in its exciting new 3G+ services. Making it easy for customers to obtain Nawras products and services in every area of the country, members of the Nawras team were delighted to get closer to those on Masirah as they demonstrated the fantastic range of innovative products and services now being enjoyed by over one million customers.
“By taking the Nawras Mobile Store to Masirah, we were able to meet the expectations of those eager for our new 3G+ services especially Broadband Internet, with the result that sales of the E220 modem have been pleasingly brisk,” explained Said Al Adwani, Interior Shop Manager.
He continued, “Customers all over the island were surprised to see just how quick and easy it is to get started with this simple plug and play device and were most impressed by its performance. Many were amazed by the fast speed of 1 Megabit per second, which is giving a much more enjoyable internet experience than ever before in the Sultanate.”
To enable even more people to benefit from the fastest internet connection in Oman, Nawras has now slashed the price of the E220 modem to just RO69, making it more affordable than ever. Customers can visit any Nawras Store today to take advantage of this new price cut.
On Masirah, there was also a lot of interest expressed in the 3G+ service of Video Calling, where both participants in the conversation can see each other and share images in real time using a 3G-enabled phone or handset. This was particularly popular for those stationed away from home, enabling them to not only speak to their families but to see them at the same time, when using a Video Call.
Crowds surrounded the Nawras Mobile Store wherever it went! From Masirah Club around the island, people clamoured to find out more about the great value, pleasingly different service and excellent quality that Nawras customers enjoy. The Nawras team were delighted to answer questions and gave on-the-spot demonstrations to show the company’s creative products and services for all to see and try for themselves.
The professional customer-friendly Nawras team was composed of Khalfan Al Maharzy, Internet Specialist, Khalid AlSulaimi, Senior Retail Shop Representative, Soud Al Habsi and leading the team, Said Al Adwani.
The journey was not without its setbacks as the team were delayed travelling from Shana to Masirah when they came across another ferry that had broken down. Naturally, this ferry needed to be towed back to shore before the team could continue but it was all in a day’s work for the Nawras Mobile Store.
Before leaving Masirah, the Nawras team thanked dealer Abu Anwar Travels for serving the local community so well by being an important part of the wide distribution network covering the Sultanate. The team promised to return again soon to continue helping the community with their mobile communication needs, in a pleasingly different way.
Nawras currently covers 96% of the population with its reliable world-class network, using national roaming where necessary and always with Nawras great value.
