Nawras is proud to be the official mobile service provider at COMEX 2009 and living up to its role, has unveiled more ‘firsts’ in the Sultanate in the form of the latest router and newest BlackBerry handset. Crowds of visitors at the Nawras stands are taking advantage of this opportunity to find out more about convenient new Nawras services like Conference Calling. Live demonstrations are being given by Oman’s customer friendly mobile operator at both the shopper and business sections of this popular exhibition.
By revealing the Ericsson w35 router, Nawras is giving exhibition visitors a firsthand view of this new sleeker, smarter model which will soon be available at all 20 Nawras Stores nationwide. The w35 router will be added to the range of internet connections on offer from the Sultanate’s first 3G+ provider.
Live demonstrations of the BlackBerry Storm phone are creating great interest ahead of its launch by Nawras in the near future. Nawras offers two great value BlackBerry price plans with the National plan including 20MB of data for free and a Global plan with unlimited local data and International roaming data, giving flexibility and peace of mind.
Three new customers will be the lucky winners of a diamond number after buying and activating their Nawras SIM-card at COMEX. Welcome packs are only RO4 and each SIM-card comes with RO4 free credit as well as a generous
additional gift of 400 free national SMS. Every new Nawras Mousbak customer will have one chance to win and there will be two chances of winning for every new Nawras Ajel customer. This special COMEX offer will finish on 29 May with the draw taking place at 9.30pm. Winners will be notified the following day.
Nawras recognizes the need for businesses to be able to stay in touch while on the move. With Nawras Conference Calling facility it is quick and easy for an initiator to inform an entire group of conference participants of a time and date to join in a call. A designated number along with a unique eight digit PIN code keeps the conference call entirely confidential. All participants call in to the given number and enter the PIN code to begin the conference.
With Nawras Conference Calling, up to 10 callers can participate per conference and the system permits up to 20 individual conferences at any one time. It is economical with each caller only paying for their own call and no subscription charges applied. Callers can be from any network or from any country.
As part of its fifth appearance at COMEX, friendly Nawras people are also demonstrating the recently launched mobile fax service which gives customers the ability to send and receive fax messages from any other fax number worldwide, whether fixed or mobile. Important documents can be received or sent from any location; a car, a coffee shop or the beach can act as a temporary office.
Visitors can also see the new CSD service which is giving added life to handheld monitoring devices. Previously considered as too expensive for daily operations, such monitoring devices are now back in action with a better performance thanks to Nawras coverage. Importantly, they are cost effective thanks to pleasingly different prices.
Nawras friendly professionals are posted at both the business and shopper sections of COMEX at the Oman International Exhibition Centre. Visitors are encouraged to stop by the Nawras stands to ask questions and are warmly welcomed to experience the latest technology demonstrated by the company named as Best Telecom Brand Oman 2008.
Nawras currently covers 96% of the population with its reliable EDGE network and over 40% with its trusted 3G+ network.
