Batelco’s Motor Show Attracts Huge Number of Car & Motor Bike Enthusiasts

Mobilk - Batelco’s 4th annual Motor Show, organised by the Company’s Youth Marketing Team, which took place on April 10th at Batelco’s Hamala Headquarters was hailed a huge success by the thousands of car and motorbike enthusiasts who attended. This year’s event was included as an official activity as part of the race fever campaign, leading to the 2015 Formula One Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix. 

The highlight of the event was a contest to choose the best car and best motorbike in a number of different categories, with awards and cash prizes in each category for 1st, 2nd and 3rdplace. The car categories were Classical cars, Classic customized cars, 4X4 cars and Trucks, in addition to 4/6/8 Cylinder (Sport and salon cars). The Motor Bike categories included Scooters, Sports, Metric, Touring, HD Classic, HD Vrod, and Customised Bikes. 

Over thirty winners were announced and presented with cash prizes, and event photos featuring winning vehicles will be posted on the instagram account @batelcomotorshow. Among the many attractions at the event was a free raffle draw for visitors, giving them the chance to win some great prizes including F1 tickets. In addition there was a live performance show from Likwid band and activities arranged by Red Bull and participating groups.

Batelco Bahrain A/CEO Muna Al Hashemi, who attended the event and presented prizes to winners, said that Batelco was thrilled with the success of the event and delighted to see thousands of people visit during the day.

“The quality of cars and bikes on display was very impressive leading to a tough contest to select the winners. This well established event is without doubt the best show of its kind in the region and a testament to the great efforts of all involved,” added Mrs. Al Hashemi.
