Conducted in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, The British Council and the Ministry of Civil Services, women from various organisations will be trained to develop essential skills to be applied to an exciting digital project towards the end of the course. The programme aims to enable Oman’s female workforce to achieve greater professional recognition through developing their potential.

Raed Mohammed Dawood, Director of Government Relations and Corporate Affairs at Ooredoo, said, “ Entering our seventh wave of the Springboard Programme, we have successfully overseen over 1000 graduates and participants succeed to get their business ideas off the ground with the power of technology. As this initiative continues to grow from strength to strength, we look forward to continuing to empower its alumni fulfil their entrepreneurial ambitions and contribute to the Sultanate’s economic growth.”

Developed by women for women, the training programme will be led, coached and mentored by Ayesha Al Shoily, an internally Certified Springboard Trainer at Ooredoo. The participants are a mixture of graduates, school teachers and government and ministry officials, travelling as far as Nizwa for this unique opportunity. Key topics taught include essential management skills, soft skills, communication, self-empowerment, and public speaking.  The programme’s professional training on self-empowerment shares key insights into how women can enhance their careers as well as their personal lives, by developing dual-purpose skill-sets such as, self-awareness and self-management.

Empowering them to harness their talents and live healthier, happier and more productive lives.
