Zain KSA launches first portable Wi-Fi device

In a new step within the series of its attractive surprises in the Saudi market, Zain KSA announced the launch of its HSPA portable Wi-Fi hotspot device equipped with mobile internet service, another first in the Kingdom by Zain.

The Company revealed that the new device is Wi-Fi internet pocket-sized wireless device which enables its user to create its personalized high speed wireless internet without the use of any cables.

Zain KSA added that customers can connect up to 5 Wi-Fi enabled devices at the same time; Wi-Fi- enabled devices include Laptops, PDAs, Gaming consoles, mobile phones and portable media players.

The new device is available with the purchase of 1GB, 5GB or unlimited monthly Mobile Broadband packages (prepaid or postpaid).

Mr. Ismael Fikree, Zain KSA Chief Operations Officer, stated that the predominance of the company in launching "Zain - Fi" in the Kingdom confirms the relentless pursuit by Zain KSA to provide its customers with the latest developments in mobile communications to maintain their distinctiveness and uniqueness with state-of-the-art services with the best specifications and prices, adding that the launch of this device comes in a high quality broadband services to Zain Saudi Arabia which experienced unprecedented demand in the Saudi market due to what the customers have seen of speed and flexibility in its use.

Mr. Fikree expected that the new Zain-Fi will receive high welcome by the company’s customers due to its attractive features and being the only Wi-Fi device to be powered by normal electricity plugs or by laptops so that it can work for 5 uninterrupted hours without wires, besides it is characterized by its small size, fashionable design and smooth usage. 

It is worth mentioning that Zain KSA was the pioneer in the introduction of different mobile services and products; the last of which was the unique launch of Broadband service based on daily fees to its customers in the Kingdom; this service gave the customers the freedom not to be committed to a certain time and flat rate tariff.
