Zain SA flies its customers to Oman in private planes

Prince Sultan bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, General President of Youth Welfare and President of Saudi Arabian Football Federation, praised the large audience supporting the Saudi national team in the first games of the 19th Gulf Cup Soccer Tournament held currently in Oman’s capital, Muscat.
 
Speaking to the media following the game between the Saudi and Yemeni teams, he expressed his gratitude to the loyal audience that supports the “green” team in all tournaments, especially those held in foreign countries. He also expected that the game between the Saudi and UAE teams, which will be held tonight in the Sultan Qaboos sports complex stadium, would attract a remarkable and large audience.
During a press conference held after the game, the team’s coach, Nasser Al Jawhar, hailed the Saudi audience for their generous and dedicated support throughout the years, adding that this great support lies behind the achievements of the Saudi national team.

 “The secret of our success is based on a cooperative policy,” he said. “Positive results can be yielded only if collective efforts from all parties are exerted in order to accomplish our common national goals.”

It is worth mentioning that Zain KSA has taken charge of flying on private planes to Muscat hundreds of supporters among its customers (who have won the Khaliji 19 competition), in addition to the members of the official supporters’ delegation. Zain has also provided them with comfortable residences, secure transportation, and money to cover their miscellaneous expenses, with the aim of offering them comfort and well-being, and enabling them to extend their support of the “green” in the best possible way throughout the tournament, which lasts for more than 2 weeks.

Zain had previously offered its customers the chance to participate in the Khaliji 19 competition, which allowed them to escort the Saudi team to Muscat, for free. Participating in the competition required only the sending of a text message from any Zain line to 1788, containing the name of the sender.
