Zain SA participates in the celebration of World Civil Defense Day

Within the framework of its cooperation with official bodies and its positive reaction with vital events and occasions Zain KSA participates in the celebration of World Civil Defense Day on Sunday 1st of March 2009G, corresponding to the 4th of Rabee'a Al-Awal 1430H-

The company will, in coincidence with this day that comes under the slogan of "Civil Defense and Protective Media", send an SMS to all its customers, who have postpaid and prepaid SIM cards, including directive phases aiming at raising the awareness standard of safety instructions and protection against all kinds of disasters and dangers, precautions, as well as the right ways to deal with it in case of its occurrence, may God forbid!

On that date, (1st of March), the Kingdom celebrates World Civil Defense Day every year with its counterparts members in the International Organization of Civil Protection, this is for the purpose of emphasizing the essential role played by Civil Protection administrations and apparatuses all over the world, as well as benefiting from media bodies, holding symposiums and lectures and distributing pamphlets and labels in coordination with the concerned bodies for encouraging, improving and developing civil protection at the international level against all kinds of dangers.

Noticeably, Zain KSA participates in activating public awareness in all fields and by all means, the foremost of which are supporting campaigns and educational activities continuously. "Zain" KSA has participated last week in the national campaign for supporting Organs Donation Program organized by the Ministry of Health and represented in the Saudi Center for Organ Transplantation. It also sponsored the educational campaign for diabetes carried out by King Saud University, and supported Prince Sultan second campaign for health education through sending educational SMSs for all customers.

In addition, at the beginning of the academic year, Zain KSA broadcasted three educational messages on the occasion of launching the program of completing vaccinating first grad students for new academic year 1429H/ 1430H all over the Kingdom after inaugurating the program by Health Minister and Education Minister at that time.
