The solution will be available to Umniahs prepaid and postpaid subscribers at highly competitive rates, with a variety of service plans that cater to consumers and business users alike.
The BlackBerry solution brings together smartphones, software and services to allow easy wireless access to email, phone, calendar, web, multimedia and other business and lifestyle applications. Umniah customers in Jordan will now be able to enjoy the freedom and productivity benefits of using BlackBerry smartphones to stay connected to people and information while on the go.
To celebrate the launch of the BlackBerry solution, Umniah is offering its subscribers a promotion starting from February 2011 where subscribers can enjoy four months of free service subscription, followed by another four months of a 50 percent discount, then an additional four months with service subscription fee.

Postpaid Umniah subscribers will be able to activate the BlackBerry Internet Service by dialing the service number *114# for a monthly fee. Umniahs prepaid subscribers can also activate the service by dialing *114# for a monthly fee or a weekly fee. Both postpaid and prepaid subscribers will be able to receive unlimited national data bundles.
