Egypt mobile phone ownership figures up 25%

According to figures by the Egyptian ministry of communication and information technology, the number of mobile telephone users in the country grew 25% to 66.87 million as of November from a year earlier, Reuters has reported. In November 2009, Egypt three mobile operators, Etisalat Egypt, MobiNil and Vodafone Egypt, had 53.682 million subscribers.
