Wataniya Telecom Sponsors Fahaheel & Al-Arabi Handball Sporting Clubs

Mobilk - Wataniya Telecom continues offering all the support needed to the sport sector in Kuwait and especially to the local Kuwaiti clubs. In this context, Wataniya has announced its recent sponsorship of the Fahaheel and Al-Arabi Handball Sporting Clubs for the 33rd GCC Championship of the Gulf Handball Champions.

The two clubs are participating in many leagues and tournaments during this season on a local and GCC level of which the 33rd GCC Championship of the Gulf Handball Champions is one of the most important participations.  As part of its support and motivation to the young enthusiastic players, Wataniya is honoring the best player in every match of the championship with a mobile phone.

Commenting on this significant sponsorship, Abdulaziz Al-Balool Director of Public Relations at Wataniya Telecom confirmed that the initiative comes in line with the company’s CSR strategy to promote and encourage sports in Kuwait as well as supporting all local clubs and teams.

Al-Balool also added: “Wataniya displays special interest in sponsoring ball sports with football and handball sports in the forefront. Our sponsorship of the Fahaheel and Al-Arabi Sporting Club is inspired by the clubs’ exceptional performance in previous seasons which is primarily why were very interested in building a partnership with them.
