Sponsored by Wataniya Mobile, the new imminent mobile network in Palestine, and the Palestinian Circus School last week held a special acrobatic circus performance in the city of Ramallah.
The hour-long event was attended by more than 600 spectators who cheered on the students who had rehearsed the circus acts for this show for most of the summer. The students demonstrated a high level of skills in their acrobatic acts and their comedic routines, which delighted the crowd.
After the performance, Shadi Zmorrod, the Director of the Palestinian Circus School said: “We are very grateful for Wataniya Mobile’s support both of this show and of our performances in the summer of 2007. It is such support that allows us to push forward with our vision for the circus school which focuses on the development of creative and acrobatic skills of the youth of Palestine. Our message is that through hard work and dedicated training we can all reach our goals, as it reflects culture of perseverance to attain high achievements. . The students were inspired by this large crowd in Ramallah which reflected in their spectacular performance after of several months of training”.
Commenting on the event also, Mr. Mohammad Nassar, the Public Relations Manager for Wataniya Mobile, said: “The success of the circus school is a unique story in Palestine that demonstrates the high level of training that these students had gone through. We were delighted to be engaged in such community events that focus on developing new skills were translated today into a very impressive performance and family fun”.
