Mobilk - STC announced that it has enhanced the Postpaid Recharge Service, as it raised the daily credit limit that postpaid customers can transfer to a SAWA or Lana prepaid line.
In addition, the postpaid credit limit for transfers has been increased to certain amount per billing period.
The service enables customers to recharge their prepaid line (SAWA or Lana) from their postpaid lines (via the Budget Control Service), whether in the Kingdom or abroad. The amount transferred to the prepaid line is deducted from the postpaid bill, at no additional fees.
The Postpaid Recharge Service includes all features associated with a regular prepaid number recharge. The recharged amount is added to the desired prepaid number, and the expiry date of the prepaid number changes according to the transferred amount, and all transferred amounts are added to the receivers Qitaf credit.
Customers can activate the service by sending an SMS containing 144 to 902. Once sent, the customer receives a message outlining the activation and recharge details, in addition to the services features. Messages to 902 are free of charge even when the customer is abroad.
The Postpaid Recharge Service aims to give customers peace of mind as it enables them to recharge their close contacts SAWA prepaid numbers and helps both parties stay connected without the need to visit a customer-care centre to recharge the prepaid card. Both the postpaid sender and the prepaid receiver receive a free SMS outlining the recharge process details.
