Huawei Consumer Business Group triumphs in two categories at MERA Awards 2015

Mobilk - Huawei Middle East has been recognized for technology excellence at the 2015 Middle East Retail Academy (MERA) Awards. Huawei were awarded two Diamond awards at the event, for best smartphones vendor in the Middle East and for the company’s outstanding performance.

These prestigious awards from MERA further cement Huawei as a global leader in mobile handset technology. The accolades come ahead of the 2015 flagship smartphone launch in the region. The P8 will launch in the Middle East at the end of May.

Huawei are forecast to continue to dominate the market as its shipments grew during 2014 by 7.8% to a total of 138 million devices, including 75 million smartphones, representing a year-on-year increase of 45%.
