The HTC Magic will be available next month after being spotted on Vodafone’s UK website.
The operator’s web page states that the handset, which was unveiled at Mobile World Congress last month, will be available in April but doesn’t specify a date.
The Magic is the follow up to the T-Mobile G1, which was launched exclusively through the operator in the UK last October. It became the first phone to run off the Google Android operating system.
The device comes with a 3.2-inch QVGA touchscreen display and features a trackball and navigation buttons for quick access to phone features. It also includes email options such as Google Mail, POP3 and IMAP, as well as Google Talk for instant messaging.
The Magic also features the Android-optimised Webkit browser, which also features Google Maps and Search, as well as YouTube.
In addition to the UK, the phone will also be exclusive to Vodafone in Spain, Germany and France and available on a non-exclusive basis in Italy.
