Orange and T-Mobile have announced that they will both stock the HTC Desire. It will be available from Orange from April and T-Mobile from March 26.
The networks join Vodafone in stocking the Android device, which was announced at Mobile World Congress this morning.
The HTC Desire has a 3.7 inch AMOLED WVGA display. It runs a 1GHz Snapdragon processor and Adobe Flash 10.1, It also includes an optical joystick.
Orange UK director of devices Francois Mahieu said: "We’re really pleased to be working with HTC to bring the latest Android 2.1 device to market. The Desire is a truly powerful handset which will allow consumers to get to grips with all the things they love about the internet.”
T-Mobile UK head of handset and device marketing Nicola Shelton said: "The Desire is one of the most eagerly-awaited handsets of the year, and without doubt one of the highlights of this year’s Mobile World Congress. T-Mobile was the first network to bring Android to the UK, and we now offer our customers a larger range of Android-powered handsets than any other network."
