Zain CEO shares his experience with Juwaydeh high school students

Zain CEO Dr. Abdel-Malek Al-Jaber shared his life experience with the students of the Juwaydeh high school for girls as part of the company’s continued support of developmental and educational programs in the Kingdom. 

In a lecture held in support of the business leaders program INJAZ, Dr. Al-Jaber spoke of his life experience and the importance education played in it. He urged students to focus their attention and energy on earning their academic degrees which will be the cornerstone of their future.

Dr. Al-Jaber highlighted the importance of education as an ongoing life-long process and not just during school and university days. He also stressed the importance of education as an important means to earn a place in the job market, particularly in view of the increasing competitiveness.

In sharing his experience, Dr. Al-Jaber underlined the basic values that led to his success including perseverance, diligence, and determination to reach one’s goals and objectives. He affirmed the basic role played by the family in providing support for students, and helping them create a passion for success.

The lecture included an interaction with the students, during which they asked questions on Zain, its achievements, and future plans. In this regard, Dr. Al-Jaber stressed the value and significance of community service and social responsibility amongst today’s youth and urged the students to be actively involved in various efforts to support their local communities.

He also highlighted Zain’s corporate social responsibility policies and efforts in support of dozens of educational, training, health and charity and other initiatives.

Zain is a leading contributor to INJAZ programs while Dr. Al-Jaber is a member of its board. Since being founded in 1999 as a non-profit organization, INJAZ has sought to inspire and motivate Jordanian youth by enhancing their leadership skills and helping prepare them to join the work force.

The Juwaydeh school for girls is supported by Zain as part of the Madrasati Initiative.
